That was because I had a packaging company pack a large 16x20 inch for me. The buyer negged me right away instead of resolving the issue first. Something that wasn't my fault in the first place. I had no idea they used packing peanuts on it. You almost have to have someone pack the large ones for you. Because there is no way you can do it yourself, and packaging skillz for large art aren't that good. Next time a large one goes out, I will make sure they do it right.

I pack and ship the smaller ones myself through the usps. As andy said they come with insurance, and confirmation if there is a problem. those are handy if the post office loses and I have to try and track them down.

You really can't judge an ebay seller just by their feedback. Some customers tend to neg over really silly stuff. In four years of selling I have only had one neg and one neutral. I have purchased many things from sellers that have had more negs and neutrals then I have, and still, they were really great.

I know some ebay sellers will rip you off in a heartbeat. I am not one of those. I'd rather resolve an issue and help the buyer out first.

Do you sell a lot of paintings on ebay? I have thought about trying to sell some of my art on there but wasn't sure it would sell. How often do you sell a painting on there?
 
Sorry I didn't see this till now. Yes I do sell a lot of paintings on ebay.
 
I have a lot of them listed in my store, and as 30 day buy it now auctions. some months I won't sell anything. others I will sell quite few. Biggest sales are around christmas time.
