Solved Article Review Reply Editing

It worked! I was able to post a new reply.
Woo hoo! Maybe other staff knew this, but I sure didn't, so we just proved something btwn us! Thanks for the experience, and glad it solved this for you!

So for any one else who wants to edit an article comment reply, just report the comment, and let a moderator know that you want to delete your reply in the “report reason” section. Then you can post a new reply!

I may be wrong, but the option should be there to delete it ourselves for a certain amount of time, and that's where I believe the PFM comes in.

I have a PFM, but I don’t think there was a delete button, and it was a fairly recent reply.

Oh okay. I hadn't paid attention to the date. That does seem odd then that we can't delete/edit our own comments like we can on posts/replies. Probably for a reason we'll never know. :)

I've seen a moderator delete a comment though for someone else requesting it when they had suggested changes be made to the article, and after the changes were made, they didn't want their comment there anymore. That's understandable for sure. So guessing these just have to be reported as you said and did!

It looks like, due to the update, you can now delete your own reply without needing to contact a moderator!

Those with a PFM are able to delete your own posts within 30 days, you can edit your posts within 6 months.
