I may be wrong, but the option should be there to delete it ourselves for a certain amount of time, and that's where I believe the PFM comes in.So for any one else who wants to edit an article comment reply, just report the comment, and let a moderator know that you want to delete your reply in the “report reason” section. Then you can post a new reply!

Those with a PFM are able to delete your own posts within 30 days, you can edit your posts within 6 months.It looks like, due to the update, you can now delete your own reply without needing to contact a moderator!
