Artificial Light when to start?

Now that it is the end of september, im thinking to add a regular light to my chicken pens to keep them laying. Just until the end of october. Now, is it the right time to add artifical light?

When does their laying slow down because of the daylight?

Start now. best production is about 14 hours light and we have less than that now.

The new standards will not lay well unless they get 14 hours or more light too. If youwant the one to stop while the others lay you will have to seperate them .
