After sitting down for about 5 minutes, and enjoying his coffee and donut, he got his coffee refilled one more time, then headed back out to the patrol car.

(Okay, I haven't carved mine yet, so many things have been going on, between our aunt getting sick, school work, and the stormy weather, things have been crazy.)

Alex got his keys out and unlocked his car door. He got in and swung the door closed. He then started driving away with a smile, happy about what happened this evening.

She watched him go before following him out the door, she grabbed her purse and waved goodbye to Terk. She walked down the street back to her apartment and took the elevator back up
