as of june 29, 5 chicks can't walk with feet all closed up - is this thiamin/niacin deficiency?

Thanks. I mean to say lecithin. the chicks are over 2 weeks old.

they are just getting Dumor chick starter and water.
 
think I should just add lecithin now to the feed?
 
The Dumor chick starter *should* provide a nutritionally balanced diet. I would worry about why yours are having this issue on the same feed that thousands are raised on annually with no such issues. Perhaps look at other environmental factors? Chemicals or poison they could have ingested or inhaled? Mold? Are they indoors or outdoors?

Adding Lecithin probably won't hurt, although I know it is a B-Vitamin and it is possible to overdose on some of the B-Vitamins. My knowledge there is a little fuzzy. But I'd be more concerned about why this is happening in the first place.
