As Seen on TV

We got one free from our neighbor. While it does soak things up--- it's not quite the wonder rug that the commercials have your thinking. That being said- I do not have an ironing board, yet I need to iron my fabric when making quilts. I lay the ShamWow on top of my fabric cutting mat and steam iron away. It's great because it soaks up the extra water from the steam of the iron and holds the fabric still with it's felt-like stickiness (great for those tiny pieces you can't hold yourself). Its also great for picking up all the little fuzzy strings after sewing that I drop on the carpet next to my sewing machine. But would I pay for it? Not what they are asking for it.

Someone on the radio was talking about the ShamWow, and asked how on earth can you wash it without it sucking up all the water in the machine!

I guess a little proof reading would be useful on my part.

No please don't - its SO much funnier this way. I'm going to LAUGH everytime they say that.

One of our local TV stations does a "Does It Work?" segment every week and they did one on the Shamwow......plain old paper towels worked better!! I had thought about getting one until then.
