A fire broke out near where I live and ashes have been falling ALL OVER, including in my chickens' coop. I'm a little afraid they'll be contaminated by the ashes and maybe even get sick. How can I keep them safe?
(FYI This pic was taken before the ashes started falling)

Are they just wood ashes? People actually let their birds dust bathe in wood ash because it kills parasites like lice, so a little falling in the coop wouldn't hurt.

My guess would be wood ashes because I think it is a forest fire. Yay I am so relieved. Thank you

No problem :) Glad to put your mind at ease. Cute birds by the way!
