EE stands for Easter Egger. Hatcheries sell them as Ameraucanas. I don't feel like getting into detail though, it's kind of long. Buckeyes may look similar but look at the face of the chick; it has fluffy cheeks, or "muffs". This is a big indicator of and EE. But don't get the idea that only EE's have muffs, there are other bearded varieties like Favorelles, Silkies, D'uccles, and others. But the chipmunk pattern and cheeks say EE.

Oh, hey... they actually DO have D'uccles! (as well as EE's, RIRs, and lots of other stuff...), I will have to look up THOSE as chicks, too! So far I am on board with EE, going by all the billions of chick pictures I have looked at in the past couple hours! As long as she doesn't have to have green feet/legs, and could hatch out of a light brown (not blue or green) egg, EE looks most like her so far....

Not anymore. It could be a goth or emo kid and a boy

No visible piercings, SUPER friendly, and upbeat/chipper demeanor...

So am gonna stick with "HER" or "SHE" until proven otherwise....

We had 3 little chicks that looked like chipmunks - Easters Eggers that were sold to us by the feedstore as araucanas. One of ours also looked like it was wearing eyeliner, so it was named Cleopatra by my daughter. Only of of ours has greenish legs - the other two have darker slate colored legs.

This is what they looked like when they were 7-8 weeks old (only pic I have of all 3 of them).

Edited to add: They look much different now at 3 months - prettier with huge muffs & beards - my kids' favorites.

It looks like a RIR or RIR mix (could be an EE mix with RIR) to me.
I have lots, I'll post some pics ASAP.

I don't have any really young pics of them, but they were just as fluffy. These are a little over a week old. They are RIR, Light Brahma mixes.

And here's one without the feathered feet.

I'm no expert of course. Just posting my thoughts.

Judging from those orange feet, my guess would be a little Welsummer mixed with EE. They have a chipmunky look as chicks, too. And very orange feet/legs!
