It's bad as far as I'm concerned. And the utilities and taxes are getting nasty in terms of price. Groceries are more expensive probably because El Paso is a lower priority than Houston and the such.

Where in CA, though? Anywhere around the big cities is really expensive, out in the boonies/mountains maybe not so much. There were reasons I told people I lived in SuperExpensiveLand when I lived in the SF Bay Area.

In LA county but east of actual LA. Houses are expensive to buy but from what The Parents have said it was still cheaper than here. We used to go back and forth from here to there as well a lot when we lived there and food here was definitely very expensive.
