I have played the lottery but have not won more that ten dollars or so.

When I was growing up, My Mom tried to start sourdough to save money. It did not work but I was intrigued by the Idea. When I was 24 years old and married just two years, I started my first starter because I have, since I was 12 years old, a baker at home.

That starter turned out to be very good and I now have two starters, one from Bredtopia and on for Oregon. I give out starts of the old Oregon one to anyone that asks too.

I have to hovobators and a Brinsea Octogon 40 ex. When I was incubating for two farms, I ran a constant hatch for two year in them. I hatched so many chicks!

Here in the City I do well with 6 hens, which is one over the limit.

Once upon a time I had over 30 here and the was good for selling eggs! In the country I woul likey try to star in the 25 chicken range.

Of course that would also depend on health. It gets harder to take care of a big flock when you get older. Curretly I am 65 and am doing ok but will need knee replacement at some time.
 
What's your favorite type of cookie? And do you have a recipe for it?
