Asmalp Forest~An elf RP~•There's a storm coming, best ye be prepared.

Todyn looked at the seeming chaos around him. Too many people, his mind hissed at him. Get away... And so he did. Skipping soundlessly through the forest, occasionally spinning a roundhouse or backflipping, and once grabbing a tree limb and swinging bodily through the trees.

The mysterious forester skipped faster and faster, spinning throughout the woods. Finally he stopped short at the sight of Jess. They were both startled.
"Have I... met you somewhere before?" she asked after she'd gotten over her fright.
"Um... no." Tod looked uncomfortable and was trying to get his way out of the conversation.

Aktura appeared behind Tod.
"Hi Jess!" She said. "Tod, please, just stop running."Aktura grabbed Tod's arm.

Tod looked genuinely uncomfortable.
"I'd love to stay and chat"--a total lie--"but I've... got some things to do. Good hunting!"
With that he vanished into the underbrush.
"It'll be impossible to catch him now," Jess explained to Aktura. "I don't know him personally - I think I've seen him before, though - but Devans are prone to being shy. It's their nature."

"I can't take it!" Ash shouted up into the tree. She looked down at the basket and nudged it with her foot. "I can't take it." she muttered to herself. "I can't take it, I can't take it, I can't take it..." she slid down, her back against the tree and ran a hand through her hair. Ash glared at the basket sitting next to her. "I can't take you. I won't take you. I don't need you, I don't need you. I don't need you!" Her elbows rested on knees. "I don't need anyone." She murmured, sounding exhausted. Her head dropped into her hands.
