Raven laughed. "Ok," She said, "The way we play it is that you set your marble outside of the chalk ring and flick it towards the pile of marbles. Any marbles that get pushed out of the ring are now yours and when all of the marbles are gone, we see who has the most." She explained, placing her marble down and flicking it, hitting two marbles out of the circle. "Did I explain it clearly enough? Or should I try again?" She laughed to herself, "Devlyn's always telling me that I explain things too fast and they don't make sense." She grinned and pushed her hair out of her eyes, then had to pull it off one of her horns.

Engla smiled. "Okay." She attempted to flick her marble, failed, tried again, and hit three out out. "Like that?" She smoothed Raven's hair so it wasn't tangled in her horns.

Raven was surprised and flinched slightly when Engla started messing with her hair, then settled down and let her do it. "Yes, just like that," She said, turning back to the marble game.

Raven placed her large blue marble outside the chalk circle and flicked it hard. It crashed into the middle of the group and two marbles rolled out of the circle. She scooped them up. "Devlyn's turn." She said. Devlyn flicked his green marble and four marbles rolled out, he scooped them up. "Devlyn's good at this game," Raven whispered to Engla. "Ash's turn now," Devlyn said quietly.

The rain softened, but the sky turned a sickly dark green. Tod looked up at it in awe, his eyes wide, Tymn hanging loosely in his arms.

(Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! not again! I keep killing it...

Raven looked up and glanced at the sky. "It is green, well, greenish at least." She said. She nudged Devlyn, "Look outside," She told him. He did and the surprise on his face was evident. "How is the sky green?" He asked. Raven shrugged. "I don't know," She said.
