When I hear people say things like how we should invade another country/territory via military action to spread our government/religious ideals, you know for their own good, a few terms come to mind.

Sometimes you have to protect people from themselves... or they go extinct... culturally and physically as history shows. Which is never popular. You have certain peoples acting like animals so you must treat them as such in the beginning just as you would keep your dog from harm (from getting run over you restrict its' freedom) by whatever means possible.

there are many things that can make the US better, under your logic another country hs the right to wander over, and take over for our own good. We have guns, well we could hurt ourselves, australia is going to take our guns away. High fat diets are bad, so Japan is going to make us eat fish, to protect us from ourselves, We have pretty lenient traffic laws, so western Europ is going to take care of traffic court for us. The war on drugs is leading to prison over crowding, So how about another country make us legalize all hard drugs.


See how simokistic and unrealistic that statement is? How such a mindset can lead to tyrany?
