I tried very hard to like encyclopedias. I even read large swaths of World Book and Britannica. If I'm honest though, it was a real struggle to get through them. Such awful, boring presentation!

Oh, right... some libraries have a book limit, don't they? Mine doesn't (thankfully), so I'll sometimes come home with... I think twenty was the most that I ever checked out. Maybe. Some of it's fiction, some of it's cookbooks, some of it's manga... so on. Maybe some medical books every now and then....
I had my own set. I liked the bigger, more thorough library set, but like you, I couldn't justify wasting my precious allowance of books for the week on something that I essentially already had.

while I've seen a few scenes from Jaws, I've never watched a shark movie.
