What the heck does latent inhibition mean?
Latent inhibition is sort of a filtering mechanism. Like if you have a normal level of latent inhibition, if you've seen a retaining wall before, and you see one while walking down the street, your brain will process it with less "weight" than what it'd process something that you've never seen before. I get distracted easily while walking outside, possible because that filtering mechanism may be reduced in my case.
This is a fancy word for slow right?
No, it isn't!
