Assess thyself

Oh, okay -- that makes sense. Oh, and no offense taken to your earlier post, by the way.
We don't eat out much in my house, anyway, really... there's a lot of people to feed, and we all have big appetites.
What does the beef tartare taste like? It seems like it would taste pretty good, but have a weird texture.

They are fracking delicious!
Been there, done that. Paella is good as is top quality beef in any of its forms of cooking or not cooking. You can have the oysters and the onion rings. Pate I can take or leave, I would just as soon have braunschweiger.

really? not even gnocchi?
Oh yeah... gnocci. I forgot about that. To me it's like third-world dumplings which are, as far as I can tell, just pasty, gluey balls of unleavened dough, generally boiled and eaten in a soup or stew. I had those in Jamaica (not the tourist part) but I can't remember what they called them other than just "dumplings."

Later I had gnocci here once. (I guess they're made of potato, though?) They tasted the same to me. I don't like it at all, and I really do like most things. 🤷‍♀️ I don't know. Lots of folks think they're great. They're really unappealing to me.

What I mean is I just can't imagine why an adult would not have tried several of the food items since they are very common on many menus. If you're a minor, that would explain it.
I haven't had most of those things, but I've eaten mostly at home all my life. I wouldn't object to trying them. They tend to be pretty pricey or non-existent on menus around here or even in central Florida where I grew up. It's always interesting to visit DH's kids on the west coast. I don't think they ever cook, even when they don't have company. They order in almost every meal. 🤷‍♀️
