This is the reported comparison with GK scores from professional tests

Insanely high correlation, though it could potentially be lower if the sample size were higher. But still, it definitely seems to measure the same thing. K0 in technical terminology lol
I imagine some people are just predisposed to having higher GK than vocab and vice versa; if I'm not misremembering you got the same raw score as I did on the antonyms test but crushed GK while I certainly didn't, lol.

It's also possible that performance on antonyms declines more with age than GK as some require fine distinctions, but I'm not sure.

I hope my GK will end up somewhat closer to my vocab if I manage to start reading regularly and keep up that routine, since I think broader exposure is necessary (but not sufficient) for the development of high GK than for the development of high vocab. Both seem pretty difficult to artificially boost.
