Living in South Texas (hot, humid, and very wet lately) has not been easy for my flock. We have been battling mosquitos(we didn't win!)
Anyway, starting June, I knoticed one of the younger flock members had worms.
I decided to start with Wazine.
2 weeks later I followed up with
valbazen.
Then about 3 weeks after Valbazen I knoticed that one of my girls seemed to have what I thought may be scaley leg mites, so I treated
everyone with Ivermectin.
So this morning I was cleaning my poop boards and noticed 3 long skinny white worms in the poop.
After research I figured out that it is roundworms.
Ok, so what now?
What do I use now to get rid of these things?
I would have thought that in the last 2 1/2 months that I knocked out what they had.
I free-range them everyday, all day long.
They spend most days near the barn with the shade.(too darn hot!!)
We have 60 acres, with lots of trees, forest areas, so their is no telling the source of the worms, and yes they probably will return there again.
I want to knock this out fast, then work on a worming routine.
Any advice appreciated.
