So I should have resisted, but didn't. This was the only one in the bin with no feathers on its feet... and the black splashy mark on the wing sold me... Even though it will probably change. The faint stripe behind the ear is on both sides, so I'm not sure if its random pink hatchery stains. I can say it is the loudest chick EVER!!! And seems to have more upright posture than the other chicks. I know what I hope chick is... but fantasy doesn't necessarily shape reality or it would be a fancy colored serama pullet that would live with me in the house.
The other chicks in the picture (to prevent screaming and for size comparison) are a barred rock and a wyondotte. They are about a week old. Not sure how old bantam is.
Ideas on breed and/or color?
Thanks!
