About 6 weeks ago I bought a cream legbar and her brood of 5 chicks, there were 4 patterned ones and one pure white, they were sold as 'mixed race chicks!' so the cream legbar who has hatched them may or may not be the mother.

Mum (Hattie) and babies.

They were about a week old when I got them and I believe them to be auto sexing as the two 'banded' chicks now look like they may be pullets whereas he other two have developed very wide combs and big wattles. The white one has developed more like the two females with an under-developed comb and wattles.
To add to the confusion I believe that the father/s may be fancy breed as the chicks all have feathered feet (but no extra toes).

Anyone got any idea what I have here? A friend with a farm is willing to take anything I don't want to keep (including cockeral's as she has no close neighbours!).
I would particularly like to keep the white chick if there is a reasonable chance it is female, and I'm loving the blue eggs that Mummy hen has started laying.
I would be grateful for any help:)
