Assortment: roo or pullet?!

Hi all, i love reading these threads so I figured I’d post as a first time chicken owner to see what y’all think. I recently got an assortment of various chicks from a friend and could use some help identifying them. They are just about 5 weeks old at this point. I know it’s still a little early, but a couple have me guessing. She bought an assortment of half from a hatchery as sexed pullets and then half she hatched, so it’s unclear genders and breeds. I’ve got quite a bit of Easter Eggers and I’m not overly familiar with the breed and sexing them. Any help would be appreciated!!

I’m assuming this is an Easter Egger and my guess has been pullet but I’m not certain on it. Any tips??

#2 I have no idea breed and I’m guessing roo by the comb.

3. Acts more like pullet and is feathering rather quickly compared to the other identical one behind it that I think is a roo.

4. I think is GLW. Not sure on sex

5. The barred rock is throwing me off! Im thinking roo?? I’ve been reading on byc that they develop combs quicker than some breeds but the coloring is pretty bright and has me thinking roo..

It’ll likely be easier to tell in the next few weeks but I’m just curious what everyone else thinks!

1 and 3 might be your only pullets,I would keep an eye on three.Two is most likely a boy,5 might be a girl based on the color,4 is likely a boy.

I'm not sure about #3, but #1, #2, #4 & #5 are cockerels.

I'm sorry, but you've got a ton of roosters!
Post again in a couple weeks and we can tell for sure! Although most of them are roosters, they are all SO gorgeous! I love all of their beautiful colors! They all look So great together as a flock!

Thank you all! Out of these ten, I guessed I had around 4-5 roosters. I have another one that’s not even posted. They are beautiful and very friendly since they are constantly handled by my kids. I will post in another couple weeks to give an update!

Yeah it looks like a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte. They are so pretty

Good eye. I didn’t even consider that but now that you mention it, it does look a lot like a Wyandotte. She just started developing her red patterns.

all cockerels, First one is a blue laced red wyandotte, Second one might be a brown leghorn, third one looks like a Columbian wyandotte, fourth is a golden laced wyandotte, and the last one is a barred rock..

The reason I question the Colombian being a pullet is because the other Colombian is a roo. What do you think, still roo?
