Guess I'm pretty lucky in that my local TSC doesn't keep cool or pretty breeds of chicks during Chick Days, so I'm not tempted. To get some I'd have to break down and go to Meyer's website.

It’s bad enough I have really reputable NPIP breeders close (under 2 hours) ... I picked up my salmon favorelles, blue and black marans and blue and black ameracauna this weekend as well!

And to think when I started doing this last summer my goal was to have three hens. Now I have six pullets, four day-old pullet chicks on the way at the end of the month, an incubator coming tomorrow, and ten hatching eggs coming mid-month.

I’ve gotten a LOT of chicks this year and my only two mortalities- this baby included- have been TSC chicks... I think it comes from the way they over crowd...
TSC said they would give me another one... or refund my money if there are none left
I think I would immediately poultry drench it if I get a new one.. we will see I’m going in the am
