I bought 10 red broilers from my local feed store (they ordered them for me from Privett). Of course, they ordered more than just my chicks, so when I went to pick them up, the ones I had ordered (delawares, ees, and red broilers), were altogether with some other breeds (cornish x, rirs, and a couple others I think). We had a bit of a time telling the red broilers from the RIRs, but we thought we had gotten them right. Soooo, fast forward 2wks and I think two of my red broilers are actually EEs. They have not grown nearly as much and they are feathering out a different color. So do you agree with me that these are probably EEs? They are the two in front with the poofy cheeks, they look like twins.

Yeah, not enough toes for a Favorelle and clean legs. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them. I was pushing the limits of my coop and run with 11, and now I have 13. Guess I'll just have to pick out the mean ones and eat them, I already have one of my current layers in mind
