Hi there, I AM in Astonishment!!! I got my Girls at The Tractor Supply on April 24th.
(Actually, I bought 18, 10 ended up being roos) I went out yesterday to water when
I see an Egg...I'm still in shock, I knew that RIR's laid early, but never expected eggs
before September. So I was thinking it just had to be a fluke, but I kept checking
the coop today "just in case" nothing. Then my husband came in tonight with
yet another egg. Can this be right???

Oh yeah...1 Husband. Hehehe

Congrats! Now I have egg envy, lol. You HAVE to tell those of us with late bloomer girls WHAT you are feeding those ladies as well as the rest of your routine. Mine are all around at least 5 months now and NOTHING! Well, One of my buff orps has sang the egg song twice, but no squatting, no big red comb/wattles and NO EGGS!!!!!

I am just still in disbelief. The Girls are just on the Grower Ration. I've tried
to give them some fruits & veggies, but they will have no part of it. The Credit
goes "All to those Girls."
