This chicken came with 3 golden sex-link but doesn't look like them so breed is unknown. If you'd like to speculate on the breed I'd love to hear your thoughts, but primarily wondering about the sex. Not the friendliest bird I've ever met, for what that's worth! ;) Thanks!

Appears to be a pullet. Possibly a Dixie Rainbow ?

I'd never heard of Dixie Rainbow so went looking for pics....yes, very similar to a number of pics I found, so thank you for that. I read an extensive thread here at BYC about them and the comments are that they are very friendly....unfortunately, this one is not. She does not like to be handled, and if she is going to be 6-7 pounds then I may not keep her. I move them back and forth from their run into a chicken tractor almost daily....the golden comets will follow a treat anywhere so it's easy, but this girl immediately heads off on her own and has to be chased down. Picking up a hen who doesn't want to be picked up with toenails that big isn't really my idea of fun! :hmm

The other chickens may be picking on it, so it may prefer to be away from the others. I see feathers missing.
