At last - no more crawling through chicken poo!

Yipee! Last night my girls put themselves to bed at 8:30 pm. After four nights of crawling through the run on my hands and knees in the poop

(it's only about 2.5 feet high) and pusing their feathery butts up the ladder into the coop, the girls finally figured out where they are supposed to spend the night!

Note to self... "When I build my tractor, build it high enough to walk instead of crawl..."

Glad I am not the only one......

Have a suggestion.......our coop is only about 4' tall, so we made the top with hinged doors.....have one of those "Magic Fingers"
with the squeeze handle and suction cups....we use it to collect eggs, re-fill waterers and feeders, as well as "prodding" our girls along to the roost. It works great, but you will need access from above!!!
