My polish chick has hatched I'm one happy mommy!! Tho as I'm a new mommy I'm slightly paranoid......is there any thing in particular I should look out for? He/she wAs chirping away and now seems to be sleeping.....I just wanna give he/she a cuddle

Did you only hatch one?

They fall asleep randomly as new borns. It's so funny

Just the one!! There were 5 others but they didn't make it
I do. However, have 11 chicken eggs and 3 duck eggs in incubation...lchicken eggs due next week
I'm so happy right now tho, my very first hatch!! Whoop whoop!!!

My one little chick is doing well .....very noisy, lol!! I hope he doesn't get too lonely in that big ole breeder by himself ..... I have put a small cuddly toy in with him and he was asleep up against it just now. I'm going to sleep now so see what tomorrow brings
