At what age are geese generally considered "adult" in size and feathering?
Many breeds are considered adult at a year and are capable of breeding. However most mature further in their 2nd year in terms of size and type. With our Dewlap Toulouse it takes approximately 3 years to delevelop their full size and type.
Im sure other members with other breeds will add to the thread with their opinions and experience.
Quote:I really appreciate this information - I am hoping my Toulouse geese are in that same category, even though they are not the "Dewlap" kind.
