At what age are muffs visible on EE's, Ameraucanas and Araucanas?

My friend has a pullet which I'm sure is an EE which is 14-16 weeks old but has no muffs. Any ideas?

EEs can be beardless.In my experiences if they dont have a beard as a chick they never get one, but I have seen people say that theres didnt get its beard until it was 5 weeks and other various ages.

This is my experience. I got 2 EEs, one had big puffy cheeks at a day old, and the other chicks were much smaller. At 12 weeks their beards reflect that. One has much more than the other.

Yes I had 3 EEs huge beards at a day old and very full beards as adults.I had another one no beard as a chick no beard as an adult.I had a lot more since then just using the first 4 i got as examples.
