Update!
My 4 newbies have transitioned VERY well into the backyard "fowl haven"!!! The other 6 adult ducks accepted them straight away! Not a protest one! I secure them into the lean to at night, there's lots of straw, food and water in there for them, and turn them out in the morning to hang out with everyone else! NOW, my two yearling Pomeranian geese are a LIL different, they are not sure about the newbies. Darla discovered the newbies at the community drinking area, stretched her neck out.....WHONKED real loud, turned and with wings spread, ran out of the yard to go tell clydette ALL about it! It was rather hilarious! They are separated for the time being.....darla and Clyde are much larger than my 4 newbies.....(3 rouens and a runner) so I'll keep them apart until the LIL guys get some more size and confidence!
