When I raise chicks, there's always a period where they are big enough to want to go outside when it's sunny, but can't go back in the coop!
My chicks are now one week old and they go out by themselves but they don't seem to understand how to go up the ramp and back into the coop when it starts to get dark. So they chirp loud and then I get in the run with them.. and one by one, make them go up the ramp by pushing on their little butts
I have 33 chicks, that takes a while.. all that time I am getting mosquito bites all over me LOL.
I think after a few days they will learn. Hopefully on friday, at their 2 week old birthday, they have figured it out!
