At what age did your rooster start crowing?

I can not wait to hear mine. We are new to chickens. We bought 14 pullets. Lost one

and our little pullet Flower turned out to be a rooster so we now have 12 hens and Flower the rooster lol. They are about 9 weeks old. Have yet to hear him try. However he is definatly the king. The other day we had a shovel leaning on the chicken fence. He decided it was not safe kept trying to heard the girls away and attack the shovel. Brave little guy lol

3 mos for my rir but my delaware not yet. Probably soon though!!

Zeus (LF light brahma) was 10 weeks old.
Thor (LF dark brahma) was nearly 15 months old.
Impy (turken) was two weeks old (and still doesn't sound any better!

)

I've only heard one of my 4 month old cockerels crow, TJ (Thor's son). He was about 3 1/2 months old at the time. Crowed for that one day, hasn't crowed since. Who could hear him over that screeching Impy does?!?
