At what age do chicks need grit?

I just got my new chicks! I have never raised chicks before and was wondering at what age I need to provide grit? Thanks!

As soon as you feed them anything other than chick starter crumble.

If you're using starter/grower feed you keep them on that until they start laying.

I started mine on grit at just over a week old and started treats a day or two after that. They get kitchen scraps as treats.
