at what age do chicks stop peeping?

when do they move over to the more adult sounds vs the baby peeping?

is it breed-specific, meaning some change vocal sounds later than others?

Probably around 12-13 weeks old, if I recall.

ok, that's what I thought...

one of the two cochin pullets i brought home is still peeping like a baby, she is a bit smaller than her sister but they're both supposed to be around 14 weeks old.

she seems younger than that to me
