At what age do Hens lay eggs?

they say they can start anytime after about 20 weeks....Ive never had anyone of mine start at 20 weeks though!

usually at about 5 months or abit later for some of em
 
They can lay anywhere from 18 weeks to 9 months old. Most hatchery birds (about 75% of poultry out there) begin from 18-21 weeks.
 
Why don't you go to the index page (top left corner) then the FAQ forum and skim over what is in there. You'll no doubt want to read some of it. It should help a lot in seeing how this forum works. It's really pretty user friendly once you get the hang of it.

They lay around 20 weeks -- sort of. I just had one start in her 18th week. People speak of hens who took an entire year to start. But, generally, around 20-24 weeks. You'll know it's soon if they start squatting or their combs and wattles get redder.
