We might have a roo and our chicks are about 5 weeks old. What age do they start crowing? We aren't allowed roos and want to keep an eye on he/she. Our neighbors will not be pleased if it starts to crow.

it depends on the breed. some can crow as early as 5 weeks and some as late as 1 year. most of mine start at about 20 weeks.
what breed do you have?

My roos have started ALL ages LOL Some started as early as a month old (my Seramas) and then some didn't start until they were over 6 months (my LF cochins)
