I read some on my tablet, but most a real old fashion paper book.

I read on my phone.

1. It's handy.

2. I can read in bed w/out disturbing my DH, who falls asleep long before I do!

3. It's self-illuminated, so no need of any lights on.

4. I can read it anywhere, standing in line, sitting in a dr office, riding in a car (that's RIDING, not driving, lol!)

5. Doesn't weigh anything beyond that of my phone

6. Nobody knows what I am reading so they can't laugh at me for reading 101 Dalmatians AGAIN or Born Free.

7. If I fall asleep at night and it falls and hits me in the face I can be very glad it's a phone and not the Compleat Works of Wiiliam Shakespeare.

8. Speaking of large tomes, I may not want to lug a whole heavy book around with me, say in public places. But I always have my phone with me. I can jump right into the next Sherlock Holmes episode just by pulling my phone out of my pocket.

9. I can enlarge the print to accommodate my failing vision. That's the BEST thing!

Completely agree with your points except these preferences ….
