At what age do rooster start crowing?

I just got a roo last Sunday.
He was born in the beginning of May. He isn't crowing.
I'm wondering if it's because of age or if it's because he's still acclimating to his new home.

Yes....He is getting used to your place....Once those other Hens leave he will get more relaxed and wake you up in the summer at around 4 am...

My fella waited twenty weeks, the older hens were beating him up daily. I finally told him you're going to have to crow so they know you're a boy! The next morning he was trying to crow in the coop. Since then I watch what i say to him, just in case.

This is not a lie... I have over 35 Roosters. Sometimes you can not hear yourself think or even the person next to you, once they all start their crow fest.

Approximately the day after they start if you've got a knife.

To the OP: sometimes you just get a slacker. I don't particularly pay attention to when mine start, because I have about 10 at any given time, but I do remember one that took 24 weeks---off the top of my head, anyway. I think I've had longer.
