At what age do you first worm your chicks

I posted this in another thread,it's from wazine17 wormer
Not sure about peafowl, but it's for turkey, chicken, and swine.

Treat replacement pullets at 8,12, and 16 weeks of age.
Treat broilers at 4 weeks of age and thereafter at 30 days.
4 - 6 weeks of age : use 1 ounce of Wazine17 per gallon water.
Over 6 weeks: use 2 ounces of Wazine17 per gallon water
Remove water in the evening, give treated water the next morning for one day.
Worming every 30 days to break the large roundworm life cycle
Do not medicate prior to slaughter within 14 days.
Do not use in chickens producing eggs for human consumption.

Are they with other kinds of birds and are they on the ground?
I raise my peas in a ground brooder, even though i have them on bark and new sand i still worm them every 3 months.
i us 3cc of safe guard goat wormer per gallon of water change it daily for 3 days, then right before i turn them loose at 4 months i put 1 cc of iveron between their shoulder blades on the skin.

Thanks Za. When you release them at 4 months, do they return at night to their coop?

They do for a while it took a couple months before my first batch even left the saftey area where the barn and pen were, once they did they no longer went into the pen to roost and that is fine by me, they sleep up by the house where some of the dogs are.

Hi all,
please could you advise me on worming my turks!! one set are 8 weeks and another 6 weeks, they are not free ranging, but in a large enclosure. My question is when should I worm them?? There is so much information regarding to worm or not, I personally feel that I should worm. However, this is my first hatch as only had three adults last year, whom I did worm, using Capizol (French), any information would be greatly received.

Zaz does no longer worm this way, she has learned the right way now.
