At what age does a rooster become fertile?

Do roosters' fertility decrease as the age? If so, when are they usually replaced by a younger one?

I'm wondering the answer to this question. At what age does a rooster become fertile?

I realy hope that we can rely on the "Old enough to tred, old enough to be bred" ... I dunno though.... I'm begining to think my Cock bird is firing blanks (Last batch of eggs infertile)

I heard from another keeper that the fertility of a Cockrell decreases after the second year ( ?)

Wow! I've been wondering about this because we just introduced a barred rock roo who hatched in April and he has been going crazy on our Australorp for the past week or so. I didn't think he'd be fertile yet, but maybe I should check her eggs!
