Oh my gosh, that is so pretty! Can I live there?

Are you just using wire to attach the fencing to the framework? And how are you getting it taunt? I can never get fencing taunt. LOL, well that's not entirely true. It hits the sweet spot a split second before I wreck the whole thing....it is too funny that I am the one in the family that ends up building most anything. It is more like an exercise in why building codes were created. Ha, ha, ha!

The main wire is 2"x4" with 2 ' chichen wire 1/2 up from the bottom and the other 1/2 buried and planted grass on the outside of the Aviary to make it Predators proof , I am using zip ties to attact the wire to the poles and u-nails when there is wood - I have use zip ties for the last 4 year on my chain link fence for the chickens and has work out great .
as you can see I have replanted some wild ferns - grass with needs to be cut - I have some yellow water iris - some bamboo growing in the back along with some tall ornamental grass plant which started to grow .
The 2" dim. cage with the spray foam roof is for some Buttom quails -I need to finish the roof foam and cover it with some moss
I have not finish the pond liner and attact it to the rocks as of yet an I need to place a pump and filter system and a mini water fall plus place the finish grade of rocks around it to hade most of the black liner

like I say I will have some ligths in there so when it get dark I can light up the Aviary when where in the back watching them

gorgeous!! It looks like you are having a lot of fun in there!

I love zip ties too. I got a great big assortment of like a thousand from Job Lots a couple years ago and use em all over the place

LOL, I have been considering zip ties, and now that you said it I can see them in the pics! Glad to know they hold up! Thanks for the extra details as well. I can imagine how nice that will be to sit out there in the evening with the lights and birds.....idealic
