At what age

at what age should my barred rocks start laying cause right now they are 4 months old to this day

Do they squat when you go to pick them up? Are they checking out the nest boxes? Squaking? The time should be soon....very soon.

If I remember correctly, my barred rocks started laying some time around 4 months old. But, then again, I'm getting old and can't remember where I put my glasses!
