At what temp do you turn on the fan in the coop?

Installed a fan in the coop yesterday. What is your temperature threshold for turning it on? I don't want to make it too chilly for them (it's 68 F in there right now).

Pics of two of my girls, just cause I love them so much. šŸ˜

How much ventilation do you have in your coop?
Where is the fan (roof, box, floor...)?
I turn my box fan on at night aiming out the front window so it pulls fresh air in through the windows around the roosts if it's going to be a warm night and has been a very warm day. The birds usually let me know by panting and holding their wings away from their bodies.

It doesn't have enough ventilation for my liking (working on how to fix it, want to put a window in the big door side, but the panels in the door are free-floating, so I have to be careful). Here's my coop:

I want to make a window in this side to match the one above, but the boards are free-floating in the frame, so I'm having trouble figuring out exactly how to do it...

In this pic, the fan is up near the top of the coop in the lower right corner...It is a 10 inch circular fan.

I'd run the fan each night if temp is 60 or higher.
Make a new door. Frame it out most of it is backed with hardware cloth. You can use the slats to make a top hinged window covering so you can leave it open even if it's raining hard. Use a prop stick to hold it open.
