Ate out last night...

We were going to town last night, and stopped off at a chinese buffet. They had these things, I have no idea of what it was but I had to get one. It was an oval golden ball with a small crab claw sticking out of one end. DH said maybe crab ragoon (sp)? Anyhow, it reminded me of a little golden chick with a beak with teeth!

I spent time on Guam, I do know what Balut is! They consider it a delicacy, I never tried it. I do know a guy who's wife was of Philippine decent, and she would make the stuff. One day he was drinking and told her that he wanted to try it. She told him that if he did, he needed to keep his eyes closed. At the last second he said he opened his eyes and saw this folded up, partially formed chick heading straight for his mouth. He threw up...
