Thanks @Silviaschicks for starting it. Hi @chickentrains ! Outside of organized religion, what are some things that make people feel spiritual? I find being in verdant spaces to be extremely calming. Also, observing the effortless perfection that is nature, and my animals. Also, seeing people be honest/vulnerable and self aware makes me feel connected.

Anyone else?
Idk, I would say I find the concept of spirituality inherently religious. F.eks, when I hear of finding it in nature, I think of the Druidism.

🤔But my understanding of the term could be wrong, or it could be one of those things that just means something different 'round here.🤷‍♂️

I've never heard of Druidism. I'm sure there are other parts to it than just going out and digging a hole

Christian parents, Catholic grandparents.

Thinking I'm just spiritual. Not like hippie, but crystals and nature is more me than most things.

Though I was for the Greek pantheon for a good 3 days

My dad is Christian and went to a Christian school. he doesn't go to church anymore & didn't bring us to church very often. My mom & her parents are non religious. We still celebrate Christian holidays as a family though. Christmas, Easter, etc.

Same here. And I won't complain about it since I love buying Christmas presents

Me neither. Christmas is more of a family get together more than anything else. I don't know what Christians do but we just hang out, eat food, and give eachother gifts. Easter is the same, we eat, play games, and find eggs.

Nature is spiritually calming for me, and I agree that getting my hands dirty and crafting really calms me down. I was baptized as a catholic but my family’s not super religious and I decided I didn’t want to be catholic. I celebrate Christmas, but not religiously; it’s more like a family get together and Santa Claus for the younger and of course the presents and food (arguably the best part)
