Okay, but, um ... where did the atoms and molecules come from?
Well, molecules are just atoms bonded together, and one of the laws of physics is that matter can neither be created nor destroyed, and I'm at peace with the fact that the same atoms that make up you and me and everything have always been and always will be

yep

I hang out in the prayer warriors all the time, I like reading the quotes/scriptures/whatever they are called. They still apply even If I don't believe in the big picture
And y'all are welcome there, too. Atheists and questioners, seekers, challengers, curious, everybody!

Just don't quote verses about how only true believers will have eternal life and all that and we're good in my book. Just want to be seen as a fellow person
this!!!
I don't mind scripture/bible verses, and often appreciate it, but not when it's telling me that homosexuals will go to hell, or I'm a horrible person for not being a true believer.

or that I should pray to god and he'll take away my mental illnesses 🥴

thats all me and my meds buddy, I do some hard work

it wasn't nothingness, it was adoms and rocks and whatever else floats around up there, LOL
The question remains, though. Where did the rocks and atoms and whatever come from? Where did it all start?

Edit: sorry about the typos. 🙄

I just don't' think about it because I'm ok with it lol
it's actually kind of comforting to know that billions of years from now, the same stuff that makes up me and everything around me will still be here, just not in the way that I know it right now
