i may have just caused a new problem for myself.
i scrambled an egg for the chickens, and as i was walking out to the run to deliver it, a crow was watching me. i threw him a little piece of egg, which he happily ate.
this is during the delivery...

i have a feeling he'll be back.

also, i'm not really as weirdly shaped as that.
just for the record, i have 3 hoodies on.
in case you thought that was my new problem.

i see it a lot around here. the husband has cut the grass twice, though, since they've come up.
