"Are you okay?" Oglan asked. It was a stupid question. But he couldn't think of anything better to say. His voice didn't sound very tender so he was worried he would offend her.

In stead of answering, Helen burst into tears again and fell to her knees, covering her face with her hands.

Oglan's face paled. He knew he shouldn't have asked her that. It was a stupid Question. When my parents left me at the orphanage, i felt the same way... Like they were gone forever and they were never coming back.

"Both my parents are d... Dead.... And I'm not sure where my sister is...." She choked out.

Oglan didn't know how to respond.... He only wondered who her sister was so he asked. trying to be more sincere about it, "Who um.. who's your sister? I mean... whats her name?" He blew it again.

"Rupha. She's about 17 years old. Maybe 18" she said as she stood up and wiped her tears away.

"Well uh.. I saw a shed full of girls they sort of freaked me out.." Oglan said getting nervous again, He didn't want the girl to start crying.

"Do you remember what they looked like?" She said, her hopes rising slightly.

"Dunno....." he realized he hadn't really payed attention to what the girls had looked like just how many there were. "we can go look!" He added quickly trying to avoid seeing her cry again

Horra's eyes snapped open. Her head hurt badly, and her legs were cut. Her black eyes were blurred by the smoke that curled around her. Her finger tips fizzed and her head spun.
