Ella sat on the cold swings. It was pitch black and it was a little hard to see.

Nick looked up and saw another person on the swings.
Who would want to be out in te middle of the night?
He thought.

Ella opened a book up that she had taken with her to the park. It was a horror book about a dead girl who haunts her cheating husband.

Another memory popped into nicks head.

A few years before, he'd asked ella to the school dance. She, of course, had said yes. At the dance, she and nick had slow danced together. He'd been so happy. In love, as you'd call it.

Ella heard a strange noise behind her and jumped off the swing and fell on her face. She lied there laughing her head off as she thought about how silly she acted.

Then he realized that the person on te swing was Ella! He smiled to himself. He had sudden butterflies, deciding to go over and talk to her.

He stood up and walked over to the swings, his hands shoved in his pockets. "Hey Ella..." He said casually as he sat in the swing next to her. "What are you doing out so late?"

Shleya looked up at the Northern lights that had just appeared. She looked over at Jason to see his reaction to their sudden appearance. Her whole world tipped upside down as his lips connected with hers. She felt heat rise to her face; her heart beat picked up speed. Then he released her. Staring straight into her eyes, Jason grabbed both of her hands. He didn't say anything but she could imagine his thoughts churning with chaos, like hers.

Kelly stared gaping at them. then she suddenly felt a surge of triumph. She had done it. She brought them together. trying not to laugh out loud with relief, her eyes shone with pride as she watched them look at each other, as if they didn't want to push farther, but didn't know what to do next.

Ella was still on the ground and heard a familiar voice. Nick!?!?!? She jumped up into a standing position and wiped away the bark on her knees and arms. "Um...sorry haha! Hey Nick. I'm just... I don't know getting some fresh air." She said stammering a little bit.
