"Oh, I see." He said with a little smirk across his face but he tried to cover it up by looking away from her.

Sarah trudged down to the orchestra room. Jessica had called that morning confessing that she didn't want to go to school because Jason and Shleya were there. But from the way her voice groaned, Sarah almost believed she really was sick. it was getting harder to pass a good judgement on Shleya because she was putting her best friend through so much. She almost felt resentful towards her. yeah, sure, she was good at playing the Viola... yeah, sure she got to carry a sword around in school... yeah, sure she had glasses... yeah, sure she was pretty... but she wasn't her friend anymore.

"Yeah, I don't know if it'll work out... You know, me and Ella." He said. Yes, they USE to have something going on but not anymore. Everything was different now and he was ready to move on.
